DAY 01: HANOI – HA GIANG - DONG VAN (Lunch, Dinner)

05:00 AM: The shuttle bus and tour guide will welcome you at the designated meeting point to depart for Ha Giang.

- On the way, you will stop for breakfast at your own expense.
- Have lunch at a local restaurant, then enjoy free time to check in at the 0 km milestone in Ha Giang City. Afterward, continue the journey to Dong Van.
Along the way, the group can admire the majestic beauty of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark.
The highlights of the day include:
  • Quan Ba Twin Mountains and Heaven’s Gate
  • Tham Ma Pass
  • Pho Cao, Sung La, and a visit to Lung Cam Cultural Village, where the famous film “Pao’s Story” was shot — a perfect spot to take photos among the beautiful buckwheat flower fields
  • Vuong Family Mansion (H’mong King’s Palace) – located in a valley in Sa Phin Commune, this was the residence of Vuong Chinh Duc, the most powerful and wealthy family in the Dong Van region in the early 20th century.
Afternoon: Arrive in Dong Van, check into your hotel, and rest.
Evening: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Afterward, you are free to explore Dong Van Ancient Town at night.
Overnight in Dong Van.

DAY 02:  LUNG CU FLAGPOLE – NHO QUE RIVER – YEN MINH TOWN (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Morning: Have breakfast at the restaurant, then check out. The shuttle bus will take you to visit and conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass on the way to Meo Vac, which is considered the most beautiful section of the road known as the “Happiness Road.”

Take photos to check in with the majestic beauty of Ma Pi Leng Canyon (800–1,000m deep) — the most dramatically divided terrain in Vietnam. Continue your journey with a boating experience on the Nho Que River, where the group will have unique photo opportunities with the Nho Que River and Tu San Canyon. Tu San is regarded as the “most magnificent canyon,” with cliffs reaching heights of 700–800m, a length of up to 1.7km, and depths of 700–900m — the most awe-inspiring landscape of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
(Nho Que River boat ticket is not included. If you wish to join, please pay 10 USD/person.)
You will have lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: The bus takes you to visit:
  • Lo Lo Chai Cultural Village: Home to most of the Lo Lo ethnic group, this peaceful and poetic village features ancient houses with rammed-earth walls, yin-yang tiled roofs, and stone fences. The scenery of Lo Lo Chai is further enhanced by the flower seasons throughout the year — peach, plum, pear, mustard, buckwheat, wild chrysanthemum, and other local blossoms.
  • Lung Cu National Flagpole: Take memorable photos at the northernmost point of Vietnam. From the flagpole, you can admire the breathtaking terraced fields and rammed-earth houses of the Lo Lo people in Seo Lung Village below.
Then return to Yen Minh Town.
Evening: Arrive in Yen Minh Town, check in to your hotel, rest, and have dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Yen Minh Town.

DAY 03:    YEN MINH MARKET – HA GIANG – HA NOI CITY  (Breakfast, Lunch)

Morning: After breakfast, visit Yen Minh Market to buy local specialties and experience the vibrant atmosphere of a traditional highland market — held only once a week. Afterward, board the bus and depart for Hanoi.

Noon: Have lunch at a local restaurant in Ha Giang City. After lunch, continue your journey back to Hanoi.
Evening: Arrive in Hanoi, marking the end of the program.

  • Transportation by a new tourist shuttle bus or car according to the program.
  • Accommodation at 2–3-star hotels in the city center with full amenities.
  • Five main meals as per the itinerary (local specialties, valued at 5 USD per meal).
  • Two standard breakfasts at the hotel.
  • Entrance tickets to all attractions listed in the program: Vuong Family Mansion (H’mong King’s Palace), Pao’s House, and Lung Cu Flagpole.
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and attentive English-speaking tour guide throughout the trip.
  • One bottle of mineral water (500 ml) per person per day.
  • Complimentary Vietnamese T-shirt (red with yellow star) for each participant.
  • Full travel insurance with a maximum compensation of 2000 USD ( 50.000.000 VND ) per person per case.
  • 8% value-added tax (VAT).

2. EXCLUSIONS

Ticket for the Nho Que River boat ride: 10 USD per person.
Drinks (wine, beer, soft drinks, etc.) are allowed during meals and throughout the program.
Personal expenses such as telephone, laundry, shopping, or meals are not included in the itinerary.
Tips for the driver and tour guide (not compulsory).

II. POLICIES

1. CHILD POLICY

  • Children under 4 years old: Free of charge (share seat and bed with parents).
  • Each pair of adults may accompany 1 free child; the 2nd child is charged 75%.
  • Children 5–9 years old: 75% of adult price (half portion meals, separate seat, share bed).
  • Children 10 years and above: Charged as adults.

  • Cancellation 7 days before departure: 30% charge of the total tour price.
  • Cancellation 5 days before departure: 50% charge.
  • Cancellation within 3 days before departure: 100% charge.
